This burgeoning, 2-year-old international chain has introduced its first South Florida branch in Delray Place plaza.
The fast-casual concept centers on hand-tossed pizza of 10-inch ($8.95) or 14-inch ($16.95) thin crust, with a gluten-free, 10-inch option ($10.95).
“As residents of Delray Beach, we wanted to open our first location in a place that was very close to home for us, in a place where we knew the community,” co-owner Nick Anagno says. “The Inferno Group has the goal to open multiple units per year for the next 10 years.”
An assembly line ushers customers to tailor their pizzas with at least 40 toppings, such as blue cheese, feta, sun-dried tomatoes, sriracha marinara and pesto.
Fifteen specialty pizzas include the basic tier ($7.95, $15.95), such as Trenton Tomato Pie, and the classic tier ($8.95, $16.95), such as barbecue-bourbon chicken, the Philly cheesesteak with rib-eye, bacon mac and cheese, Hawaiian Fire and Tuscan chicken.
Self-pour beer and wine service complements the speedy service.
Lunch and dinner are served daily amid an orange-accented setting with a faux-wood concrete floor and a wall of beer and wine taps, plus a covered patio.
Up next: a Boca Raton location due in February.
